About Sting

He first gained worldwide fame as the frontman of The Police, a band that dominated the late 1970s and 1980s with hits like Roxanne, Every Breath You Take, Message in a Bottle, and Walking on the Moon. The Police became known for their innovative fusion of rock, reggae, and new wave. After the band disbanded, Sting embarked on an exceptionally successful solo career. His solo music is defined by poetic lyrics, sophistication, and a unique blend of pop, rock, jazz, classical, and world music. Some of his most iconic solo tracks include Fields of Gold, Shape of My Heart, Desert Rose, Englishman in New York, and Fragile.
